Trilogy of albums from Paul Khimasia Morgan

 

Over the first half of 2023, TSOKL label head Paul Khimasia Morgan took time out of his collaborative schedule and his day job running Aural Detritus Studio, to produce this intriguing trilogy of electronic improvisations.  Each was produced in a single pass; using a very simple set-up utilizing analogue tone generators, tape delay emulation, electronic resonator and at the heart of each session the mark 1 Chase-Bliss Audio MOOD digital/analogue looping pedal.

Khimasia Morgan examines the nature of repetition and decay, both technically and as an analogue of the managed dwindling of the natural environment in the uk.

He continues these electronic experiments as part of his regular practice, and so expects to be able to present a second trilogy in 2024.
